How Life Takes over

Ok, sorry all three of you that read this, maybe 4 by now, I have been very much neglecting my blog.  I apologize.  So yes, I will try and be more diligent.  Now, moving on.

Thank you both Phil and Shanny for your comments on my ideas for the autoworker.  I agree, there is alot of holes in my plan, and I admitted that,  and yes, there are alot of other ideas I had to beef up the infrastructure needed and stuff, but I didn’t want to start spanning to many ideas, I wanted to stick at it for one at a time for now :)

So moving along.  I was lucky enough to get a copy of Godftaher II on the PS3 and in the few minutes of free time taken, I have found myself very entrenched in the game.  They added a nice depth to this game with the multiple cities, the Don’s view, and the hiring of people in your family.  They also have made the fact that the families will attack your businesses and stuff and you have to go defend it yourself, or send family members to go defend it if your in the middle of something.  It’s just a nice dynamic to the game that really makes it alot of fun.  Also the obscene amount of blood and gore is a nice touch also :)

And this week inFamous comes out for the PS3.  Very excited about this game, I hope it lives up to the hype.

Finally we went and picked out the Tux’s for the wedding.  Very easy, and I think it was a total of a 30 minute round trip.  Needless to say one more thing taken care of off the list :)

But now, I will part with this short post, not sure what else to write about.  Hoepfully more updates soon :)

  • That Godfather game sounds sweet! Unfortunately, I probably won’t ever own a PS3, but there is a WC3 mod that’s a very simplistic version of that. I don’t recall if I’ve played it with you or not, but we should hook up with it some time.

Simply put, you choose your style of play (explosives, heavy guns, strong henchmen, etc.) then go off and try to capture as many businesses as possible. Businesses send runners with payments to your main base, where you can spend the money on weapons or upgrades for your “hero” or your AI-controlled henchmen. There are two “families” in opposite corners of the map, and the goal is to blow up the opposing family’s base.

  • No i don’t think i played that one, sounds awesome fun though :)

and you can come by and checkout Godfather on my PS3 anytime you want!
