Well I gotta say, I just have a hard time Updating, Life takes over and I have alot on my plate. But I’ll try and rectify that (since work has been a little slower). The Wife and i just got back from our Honeymoon. 4 days in London, 6 days in Ireland. Even the Apple TV and Mac Mini, which many will call a bust, I think are great little machines. But the iPad, well, it falls way way short of expectations. Hello everyone, I’m back, relatively, and the wedding is over and we are married and now MOVING ON!!! For those of you unmarried (uninitiated? unwashed? whatever) it is everything people say it is. Fun, exciting, makes you weak at the knees, beautiful, joyous, a blast, and it goes by so fast that when [...] First of all, I want to with my mom a happy birthday. She may never read this site, and that is fine by me, because I know if she did I would constantly be asked about it’s name. Ah well, I guess my humor will never quite extend into the realm of what my parents get. [...] Of course you are, because you all love me Between a small speedup at work, Wedding stuff (also taking up some work time) and trying to work on the basement, i apologize that everything has taken a back seat. So it may be like this till Mid-October, then it should be better. [...] PHEW!!! This is going to be a long one (I think) as I have a lot to update about (if I can remember everything I want to talk about).
First thing I want to touch on is a want. I was thinking, as I was riding around on the motorcycle, how much I would LOVE a program that could interface with my brain and record my inner monologue as I drive down the road. Sure there may be some post-thought editing needed, but damn, I would blog post a lot and it would probably sound much better as it would be current thought, not remembered thought. So if anyone is working on something like this, I’ll be a test dummy.
Wow, let me tell you that it has been a crazy bit of time. I know there have not been any updates, but that’s just because it has been nuttier then normal. I think this will be a huge update, but who knows.
So start out with [...] Well let’s start this out with a bit of Tech. OS 3.0 for iPod’s and iPhone’s came out today. Now I own a iPod Touch so I am part of the lucky demographic that got to pay 10 dollars for the upgrade. While this is not a big deal, I still don’t want to pay [...] Well time for another update.
Thankfully, I got the extension for Open Office to publish to WordPress now, so this whole process just got a shit ton easier
So this past weekend was the Motorcycle Rally [...] So over the weekend, and with the wedding looming closer, we met up with our amazing photographer and got some Engagement Photos taken. Now at first, I wasn’t so sure about the idea. To me it seemed like a sham for more money. But then I looked past all of that and though “these will be nice pictures of just us for us and friends to have, so why not” and went with it. I’m glad I did. I chose to have the shots done down at Belle Isle, because frankly, I think it’s a beautiful area that should be utilized more and is just one of those hidden little gems about Detroit. Anyways, we went down and got pictures at the Fountain down there, with the GM Ren En in the background, the conservatory, and the Casino down there (which is now a hall only if you did not know). One of the funniest parts were the photographer saying things like “get close to her like you love her or something” or “kiss, for a long time” or “hey you two!! make out some more!! be natural” which to us was hilarious. We are not like, a heavy makeout couple by any means, but it was kind of fun. We also agreed we kissed more on Sunday then probably the past month. We both laughed at that. So then after a bunch of riding this weekend and stuff, I am now happier to be home. But now even more technology stuff!! If you don’t want to read the geeky parts, turn back now |
