Ah yes……….wine…..nectar of the gods. Drink of the world. Considered by many to be refined and a good moniker of social status. AND I HAVE FLIPPING GOBS OF IT As of Saturday, with the help of some friends, my father and I bottled not only all of the wedding wine, but all of the wine we [...] PHEW!!! This is going to be a long one (I think) as I have a lot to update about (if I can remember everything I want to talk about).
First thing I want to touch on is a want. I was thinking, as I was riding around on the motorcycle, how much I would LOVE a program that could interface with my brain and record my inner monologue as I drive down the road. Sure there may be some post-thought editing needed, but damn, I would blog post a lot and it would probably sound much better as it would be current thought, not remembered thought. So if anyone is working on something like this, I’ll be a test dummy. Now, first off, I’m only going to talk about this, no links, and no specific names, just in case, BUT….. I have a couple comics I get delivered to the house. I get Ultimate Spiderman, Ultimate X-men, and Ghost Rider. I get them delivered to my house because I always forget to go get them, but I also do traverse comic book shops for back issues and just to see what other comics are out there. I think it is a great medium and a great thing I would hate see go away. Now on to my conundrum of sorts. Not sure quite how I wanted to frame this but bear with me. However, I do have to say, these are my opinions, and if I am wrong, I am wrong, but I think I got a good path, but I am open to discussion of this. I know this is a few days late, but life has been crazy. First off, before this gets going. I want this to be known, i had a good Halloween with friends, and the kids that came through had cute and funny, and a few original costumes, and it was a good night. OK, I’m bringing out the Bitch Stick again. I’m allowed to. In fact, i won’t even subject you to reading it. But if you want to, click below… Why is that you may ask? well i will gladly tell you. It’s because it is WINE SEASON!!! mhmmmmmmmmm Saturday at the mighty hour of 6 AM i will be waking up to go pickup my grape juice at 7 (don’t have all the equipment i need or i would be mashing it all myself). After that [...] As some close friends know, back in the heyday of baseball and into the late 60′s i had 2 family members who played in the Major League. Mike Tresh and his son Tom Tresh. Tom is technically my 2nd cousin, the way that whole family thing works out, and i had met him only a handful [...] Ok, let’s try this again….. I now will attempt to upload this blog for the 3rd time. For having so much to say, i really don’t have much to update. Odd huh? My Cabernet Sauvignon is finally done fermenting. I will be going home tonight and stabilizing it along with combining it into one barrel. Now comes [...] So for some reason I can’t seem to update my blog on IE 6 at work. Not sure why, just know it doesn’t work. Since I had most of my available free time there to update, that is why the site has had nothing new. I know, not a good excuse, but it’s the truth. Hopefully that will all change soon though WARNING: The rest of this post will be totally geeked out. Talk about failing motherboards, upgrading WP failures, Wine, and the cool new rig. If you care about that stuff, read on, otherwise, all you probably want to know is this: I’m fine, the new job starts soon, and I’m excited Oh yes, it is close to that time. In order to have more room for the grape juice from Chile I had to bottle up some wine yesterday.
